Found a small but really good place to rent through StaySthlm AB. The contracting process was really quick and key handover was done really smoothly. The flat was really close to T central and stockholm city hall. When I left the flat the handover process was also really smooth.
In case you are wondering, this was the view from the flat balcony.

Out of my 2.5 years living in Stockholm in an apartment managed by Stay Sthlm, I never had any single problem. Every time there was something in the house that needed to be sorted (plumbing, storage, cleaning etc.) they were the fastest to reply and provide the required support. Availability was constant and helpful as well as a smooth process when it came to check-in, check-out and paper work. Highly recommended.

Communication in both Swedish and English is highly professional and polite, not only with the owner but also with every person we interacted with, either by email or in-person for maintenance. Stay Sthlm displayed more courtesy, human touch and altruism to us than our previous tenant (in another place).

The biggest thing to me as a parent, is that renting to Stay Sthlm provided me with peace of mind. We knew our lease would not be suddenly terminated out of the blue - which had happened to us in the past, and let me tell you a 3-month notice is not enough when you're moving out with a 3-month-old baby.

All in all I would recommend Stay Sthlm as a reliable and respectful company to pay rent, that was well worth the price.

Rented an apartment through Stay Sthlm for a little over two years. Overall our experience was great. A two room apartment in the heart of Vasastan, with balcony on sunny south side and bedroom facing peaceful inner garden, at a very reasonable monthly fee (compared to other second hand renting). I would actually rate 4,5 stars as I think some elements of the apartment are a bit outdated (mainly kitchen) and should be considered for replacement, but service by Stay Sthlm has been great, so 5 stars are well deserved.

StaySthlm have been a great provider of housing during the two years I have been a tenant.

They communicate clearly and politely in English and Swedish, and are quick to respond in the rare circumstances where their support is needed. Their actions in those cases have been first-class, really moving mountains to look after their tenants.

The housing they provide is of very good quality and rents are charged at a very fair rate. I have already recommended StaySthlm to colleagues of mine who are seeking a place to live either in Stockholm city or the surrounding suburbs. 10/10.

Avoid at all costs. Con artists targeting migrant workers. Overpriced and shabby apartments.

On several occasions during our tenancy we tried to contact Stay with issues and they never responded. We were totally ignored.

When we left they sent us a disgustingly high cleaning bill despite the apartment being left clean. The "cleaning company" they use is owned by the founder of Stay and are not available for private cleaning services. This would suggest that they do not even have professional cleaning staff. It exists purely to con their tenants. Yes cleaning was in our contracts, but it does not take eight hours of labour to clean a clean apartment.

If you are moving to Stockholm and unfamiliar with the market, do not consider renting with Stay. You can do and deserve better.
