We had a lovely stay at Nova Skyland when we visited Rovaniemi in February. The room we had was set over 2 floors with the bedroom on the top floor and a living area downstairs. The room was spacious with several amenities and two bathrooms which was handy. The room also came with a sauna but we didn't get a chance to use this during our stay, though seemed pretty straightforward to use. The lady from the front desk took the time to take us to our room and show us around and gave us instructions on how a few things worked which was nice. The restaurant in the hotel was amazing - we had dinner there twice and the salmon was just beautiful. There are 2 reindeer outside the hotel and the staff often came out to provide you with some foliage to feed them which was super fun. Location is great, with Santa Claus village just a short walk away. Rovaniemi town itself is a fair distance away so would recommend hiring a car if you don't want to stay in Santa Clause village the whole time. We hired a car halfway through our trip when we realised that taxis into the town were quite pricey and travelling anywhere else was difficult to do without a car. All in all, a great stay and we would definitely visit again!

We loved this place from the moment we arrived! Veera, who greeted us upon our arrival, was welcoming and friendly, and offered us food to feed the reindeer on the property. Our Aurora Suite was spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. The restaurant offered a wide variety of food, making it easy to choose something. Nikita served us in the dining room and at the bar, and we enjoyed sharing stories with him. It was hard to say goodbye when it was time to leave and we would definitely go back.

The most wonderful place we ever stayed in. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean, warm, comfortable, the sauna is amazing after a day in the cold weather. Rituals amenities, bathrobes, slippers, everything you need including warm clothes you can borrow. The place is very quiet, no crowds, 5 minutes walk to Santa Claus Village. Both breakfast and dinner were very good. All the staff is lovely, porters, waitresses, receptionists. Jessica is very helpful. We head to Appuka Resort afterwards and wish we have stayed longer at Nova Skyland. It is a whole level above. 100% recommended.

A perfect place for a stay! The rooms were extremely clean, and set up very well for a family. The front desk receptionist was incredibly kind and friendly, and we ate at the restaurant that is on location several times. Each time the food was very good, and the staff was very accommodating and pleasant.

Excellent stay in this hotel/resort. It's big, clean and great sleep quality. Staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Hotel has exclusive activities (i.e. snow mobile etc) for guests. Buffet breakfast is great. Able to play with snow right outside our room. Highly recommended.

A very good hotel on the edge of Santa Claus village, our room was very warm, clean and comfortable. On the ground floor there was a shower room, a day bed, TV, 2 chairs and a huge picture window. The bedroom was on the first floor with a second shower area and small sauna.|We only had breakfast in the restaurant, there were plenty of choices including hot and cold items, my only comment would be that the hot buffet food was only lukewarm.|Overall we had a good stay.

We stayed three nights and it was a lovely experience! The room was super clean, comfortable and warm. The staff were super helpful and they are truly focused on providing very good customer experiences. The breakfast was really good — they offer variety and quality 🙂 I would definitely recommend this place and I would love to come back!

I stayed in one of the lodge in the NSH recently on my trip to Rovaniemi. The staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful and there is 24/7 service provided if needed. The buffet breakfast has a good selection and coffee machine with a wide choice of coffees. However, it was disappointing to find there is no security box in the lodge despite being told there is one prior (they provided a portable one on arrival which was rather unsatisfactory), the fire burner did not work properly because the logs would not burn, there was limited english channels on the TV (mostly russian and chinese). The restaurant offered good food at reasonable prices. Apart from the above, generally pretty satisfied with my stay.
