We absolutely loved Aurora Village! Amazing place and the food was absolutely out of this world! Excursions were all brilliant. For us we appreciated that it is an older clientele rather than families with children. This was a real bucket-list holiday for us and it was really worth it!

We really enjoyed our holiday at Aurora Village. The cabins were magical and you could see the northern lights from your bed. Also the activities were so fun and the guides were so friendly. A special thank you to Lukas who did everything to make me feel at ease (because I’m pregnant), he really took care of the whole group during activities. We also loved the food which was very refined. You could tell it’s a family owned hotel because everyone is doing their job so well. We will definitely come back.

The location is beautiful. They have reindeer that are accustomed to being around humans and will allow being touched. We chose to do the reindeer sleigh ride. This is a nice experience, they provided reindeer blankets to keep warm in the sled. After the ride the adventure concluded with stories about reindeer and reindeer hearing in the region. We enjoyed the experience, and only wished it had lasted longer.

Amazing experience
Second time visiting, we came in February 2023 on a 50 degrees Nordic tour with my husband. We loved it so much we brought our 2 sons and their families back this year. And once again it didn’t disappoint. They all loved it and couldn’t believe how magical it is.

Loved our stay here. We wanted to see Santa so we booked a stay here for Christmas. And we did meet Santa. It was small but inviting. The rooms are cool with the portion over the bed being just glass so you can lay there and stare at the stars. If you are lucky you might even see some northern lights. Snow shoeing, cross country, snow mobile, feed reindeer, ride a slay behind the reindeer, dog sled, northern light chasing and Santa. Not a bad trip. The food was really good too. We were told the Finlandian people might not be nice but that wasn't the case for us. Everyone was super friendly and always smiling. Not seeing the sun for 12 days was a little weird. It was a trip that my wife has wanted to do for years and it didn't disappoint. I would highly recommend it.

My vacation to Aurora Village has become one of my most fun traveling memories. Every activity has been spectacular. Every meal has been exquisite. Every change I've requested has been accommodated.

This place is legendary in my mind. The cabins are quaint but perfectly sized and arranged. Right outside your door or from your window, depending on which line of cabins you're in, you can see reindeer prancing on by. Activities abound for you to choose how energetic or relaxed you wish to be. Each 3-course meal is expertly prepared and worthy of a fine-dining label.

If I were forced to nitpick, I would say that an interactive daily activity listing for each cabin could be added for ease of viewing and arranging. However, I wouldn't want a screen in the cabins, so maybe via a personalized login portal via client devices.

Secondly, I would have appreciated daily little nibbles or snacks at the cabin, just to tide us over until meal times.

Even saying these feels ridiculous, as we would rate this a 100/100 stars if we could.

Incredibly charming hotel! Super clean and cozy cabin; comfy bed; wonderful forest view; refreshing shower; convenient kitchen corner with a small fridge and a tea/coffee maker. I enjoyed my morning coffee in bed very much! We really liked the welcoming and relaxing atmosphere in the restaurant; its delicious food with a lot of local specialities. The Northern Lights were absolutely stunning!! A truly unforgettable experience in many ways! Huge thank you to the hotel staff for their help and hospitality!

Unser Aufenthalt im Aurora Village Oy war einfach traumhaft! Die charmanten Glas-Iglus boten eine spektakuläre Aussicht auf die Nordlichter und die unberührte Natur. Es fühlte sich an, als ob man mitten in einem Wintermärchen lebt.

Der Service war erstklassig – das Team war stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell. Die Aktivitäten, wie Hundeschlittenfahrten, Schneemobil Touren, Langlauf Ski und Rentiere füttern, waren perfekt organisiert und machten unseren Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis.

Besonders praktisch: Die benötigte Ausrüstung wie Schneeanzüge, Stiefel und Handschuhe wurde uns für die gesamte Dauer des Aufenthalts gestellt, was den Komfort erheblich erhöhte.

Auch das Essen war hervorragend – mit regionalen Zutaten liebevoll zubereitet und von bester Qualität. Unsere Wünsche bzgl. des Essens wurden berücksichtigt und es gab tolle Alternativen.

Das Dorf und der Supermarkt waren gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Wer Ruhe, Natur und ein einzigartiges Erlebnis sucht, wird hier fündig. Wir können das Aurora Village Oy uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
