Wonderful stay and memorable experience at the Apukka Resort Rovaniemi. Everything went so smoothly from start to finish, and activities provided by Apukka Resort was amazing. We stayed in the The unique Kammi Glass Igloo Suites were fully equipped with a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a comfortable double bed under a panorama sky view from the top window. The restaurants are very nice, offering Lappish cuisine and the food on the A La Carte menu has a delicious options to choose from.||For the activities we did Aurora Hunt on the Snow Train which was great in the snow covered forest, snacks and hot drinks were included. ||One of the highlight of our journey was Lakeside Sauna experience which was amazing and the Artic Sauna which was a real treat and unforgettable! ||Absolutely loved the dining in the restaurant Aita wooden hut and Kota restaurant. ||I would like to thank all staff members for their friendly and professional service, this place is must visit, ideal for both couples and families. Highly recommended!

My wife and I went here for our honeymoon, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. Such a cool experience. We only saw the lights briefly on the first night we were there (jetlag really is no joke!) but all the activities here kept us more than occupied the whole time. The husky tour was the best, the snow train was also nice, the zoo trip was maybe slightly strange but we ultimately enjoyed it. Could definitely use a few more food options. The cabins are cozy and spacious, the clothes and boots they provide you are plenty warm, and overall the experience is unlike anything else.

We stayed at Apukka Resort for 3 nights in March, in the Aurora Cabin Queen. The rooms were very nicely decorated, and there was sufficient space for 3 adults + 1 infant. During our stay, we were warmly welcomed by the resort hosts, and they have a welcome pack with gifts, and a map introducing the resort area. We loved that there were many spaces to explore - reindeers, horse and a slope where we spent lots of time sledding and tubing. ||||During our stay, the resort hosts were all very welcoming! In particular, Benjamin was welcoming and helpful with our luggages, and giving us a tour around the resort and giving an orientation on how to use the features in the room as well! Thank you to the Apukka team for the great stay!

Travelled as a couple and had a fantastic time in Apukka. It's super close to the airport and in a stunning location on a lake. The cabins are beautiful and very well appointed for quite a small space. Only downside is that showers are not very well designed and water flows everywhere so you have to be careful not to get the whole bathroom wet.||We took part in several activities (husky ride, reindeer adventure, snowmobiling, sauna carriage and aurora hunt) that were fun, well organised, staff super professional and we enjoyed all of them. ||Do use the overalls provided.||Breakfast and dinner at Aitta was lovely, we were impressed by the a la carte menu at Aitta. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Also had dinner at Kota but found it confusing whether you need to pre book or not and a lot of times it was unavailable due to large group bookings- there needs to be a better process. ||There's a small space next to reception where you can have a few drinks or light snack and that was great also. They could probably add an extension to the building and make more space, add a few tables as it was always in high demand.||We also used the hotel shuttle to go to Santa Claus Village and come back from Rovaniemi. Very convenient and punctual- only criticism is that it's paid for and it's the same price whether you get off at SC Village or go to town and you have to buy a new ticket if you decide to go from the Village to town later. So we chose to get a city bus from the Village to town instead as it was cheaper.||The staff were wonderful all around!

The most memorable trip I've ever had! From start to finish the experience provided by Apukka Resort was brilliant. We stayed in the Komsio Suite which is excellent, comfortable and stylish. The restaurants are very good and the food on the A La Carte menu has some delicious options to choose from. ||For the activities we did Snowy Nature on Horseback which was so pretty in the snow covered forest, the Husky Adventure which was really fun although cut short due to it being warm for Lapland so the huskies couldn't run for long in slushy snow (due to risk of injury), and the Aurora Snowmobile which was awesome! ||We also did the Lakeside Sauna which was amazing and the Artic Sauna which was a real treat - 3 types of Sauna (ice, wood-heated and electric) and a Jacuzzi all of which were to ourselves. ||For a place to get engaged I couldn't have thought of a better location. Henna from the staff desk was so helpful with organising everything and suggesting things such as decorating the room and the private celebration dinner in the restaurant Aita wooden hut. ||All in all an unbelievable experience despite no Northern Lights and slightly warmer weather, but these are things nobody can control so I couldn't have asked for anything more from the Apukka team. ||This is a must visit place!!

One of the most memorable experiences I have had. it was like staying in fairy land. A dream come true and perfect. The igloo was awesome . Service was great. Food was awesome. The ambience , location and most importantly how it made us feel. Perfect

The resort is perfectly located by the lake, a very friendly team.
Buffet restaurant didn't have enough options, but the rooms had the feel of the igloo house. There are so many activities to do in the resort, and they provide warm clothes to wear around the resort.

Beautiful resort and worth the money! We stayed here in March end and blessed with 2 nights of northern lights view directly from our cabin! They have plenty of vegetarian options in their breakfast buffet and even provide winter clothes on request. We found the room side sauna extremely value for money!
