Nice hotel with rooms and apartments a little out of the centre of Rovaniemi. The apartment was excellent, 2 bedrooms with its' own sauna.
The staff were very friendly and all spoke perfect English. Breakfast was very good.
The only negative IS that if you don't have a car, you need to take the bus to the city. No problem during the day, but not so frequent in the evening.
The pool is excellent for swimming (lanes, 25m). The gym is also amazing. It was a really nice stay, but just far from the city and restaurants. Facilities, staff and service are all excellent.

On our last night in the santasport apartments & have been very happy with the accommodation. Really spacious & clean on arrival. Rooms are pleasantly warm have plenty of cutlery/plates etc. kettle, microwave, hairdryer, toaster, dishwasher, big fridge/freezer. Loads of storage space for cases & belongings. 2 bathrooms one with sauna, 2 bedrooms. Beds were comfy, loads of extra pillows, extra duvet & plenty of extra towels. Big TV, there seems to be a place to plug a fire stick in but I forgot batteries for remote! Never used any of the facilities in the main hotel like pool/bowling etc as we were so busy out & about. Didn’t eat there either, we brought stuff with us or ate out. The staff were helpful when I had one or two queries & room was ready 3 hours early (lucky I guess) Its a good 10-15 min drive to Santa Village you need a car or taxis, I couldn’t see anything in the immediate vicinity, such as shops/restaurants & certainly not walking distance in -30! We had cretins staying above us who would bang the doors until 2am - absolutely not the hotels fault but maybe bring ear plugs. All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending.

Fab family complex, a sporting complex which turns into family resort in winter with the snow. Good breakfast. Huge rooms with bedroom and lounge. Basic kitchen with only a microwave and kettle. Drying room and sauna. My opinion need a hire care here as slightly out of town by couple of km. close to ski resort and also the hill with the lookout and fantastic views of the northern lights by the reindeer cafe. Staff were ok. Not overly friendly but assume they see so many guests each year. Football pitch opposite where kids go sledding on the hill. Sledges left about the complex to use. Indoor bowling alley and swimming pool and a kids play area and indoor footy area which stays open till 10pm. Restaurant and bar on site. Good value, fabulous rooms would recommend

Didn't enjoy our stay here at all. The beds were hard, room too warm, very hard to find facilities and breakfast was very poor. Cheapest of toilet roll in bathroom. There was no smoking are that I could find and on arrival signs to find reception very confusing resulting in us wandering about in snow with luggage. All in all would not recommend.

It's a great stay with a lot of benefits we stayed in a 6 bed suite with sauna. It's a big Olympic Training facility. It has an awesome gym and there are rental services available for winter sports. The prices for the rentals are much better than other places in Rovaniemi. The breakfast buffet was really delicious with a lot of options and also nutritious. All the information is mentioned in their website.

Great hotel, well priced, about 15 minute drive from the airport and about 20 minutes drive to Santa’s Village. This hotel is great for kids and families, lots to do on premises between pool, bike and ski rentals and trails to enjoy those. Staff is very helpful. We chose a larger room and breakfast was included. It is cafeteria style but with lots of good options, they also have another small restaurant that’s great for snacks between meals. You must bring or rent winter clothes in order to enjoy the outdoors. It is very cold! The hotel recommended Winterent to rent the ski clothing, I do not recommend them though, they have very poor communication and not so pleasant client care, or lack of help.

We booked the 6-person room as apartment was not a available for our family if 5, kids 10,4,2. It's nice has you have 3 spaces with doors for kids to sleep and still use common area. Kitchen was helpful as we made tons of cocoa and Mac 'n'cheese in microwave, no cookware provided. Breakfast is the same daily but kids will enjoy. Dinner buffet is economical as little ones are free and entree changes daily. You can talk to your tour drivers to stop at market nearby on your return to hotel to get essentials or eat at the pizza/kebab shop. Our only complaint, and why it's a 4 star, is that the open times of the kids fun area and pool are a bit restrictive give. The times you are likely out on tour during the day. We were there 5 days and never made it to the pool, and jump room for an hour once. So, make sure you have ample plans and activities for kids, know the operating times if staying here.

There were 6 adults for our trip to Lapland. We stayed in a 2 bed aparthotel at Santasport Resort which accommodated us as there were another 2 single beds in the lounge. We had a kitchen, small dining area, bathroom with sauna and a balcony. The hotel had a small cafe which did suitable meals for our weekend trip, along with bowling alley, gym and swimming poo. We were not disappointed. We visited Santa Clause village which is a must and stayed most of the day even though the temperature was -20. The hotel is a bit out of the way and we had to get taxi's everywhere, but it was not a problem and we shared the costs. I will write a separate review on that, which you must look up. I thoroughly recommed this hotel.
