One of the most magical places we've ever been! We stayed in one of the family suites, which was great for us as a family of 5 and had everything we needed, including a sauna in the bathroom. The breakfast was good too each morning and set us up for the day. Yes, it's more of a commercialised place of Christmas/Lapland but we enjoyed it for our first visit to Lapland. My boys loved playing in the snow. Would definitely return some day.

My stay at Santa Claus Holiday Village in early April 2024 was fantastic. The one-bedroom apartment I occupied was impeccably clean, invitingly warm, and wonderfully cozy. The spacious and comfortable bed, along with the private sauna, added an extra touch of luxury. Despite the season winding down, the resort buzzed with families and children making the most of the remaining snow and the Christmas ambiance. I highly recommend a visit to the Three Elves restaurant, where I was treated to one of the most delicious salmon soups I've ever had. Hats off to the chef!

This place is amazing in winters but in summers you will see a whole different perspective of things.....peaceful in the wilderness. And yeah you can meet santa all year long here. Winter photos are everywhere so I am putting some old summer photos too

Overall experience was great. However, I think the hotel needs to look into more variety of breakfast selection and improve taste of food which we expect to achieve better based on the room rate charges/standard of this hotel comparing to other equivalent hotels that we stayed in Norway & Finland during our trip. Also should revisit the charges of hardcopy photo/digital copies of photo/video with Santa as I think is pricey and should lower down the price to be more approachable to visitors.

The hotel is inside Santa Claus Village. You can go anywhere in the Village within walking distance. The size is quite big, as we compared with hotels in Helsinki. The hotel staff are all very friendly. There is a big window in the room facing the Village, we can see the night lights in the village. This is very comfortable to stay in the room. The hotel is also near the express shuttle bus to the airport and train station: There is also a sauna inside. We had a wonderful time in the hotel.

It feels like a commercialized tourist trap, which it is. You can meet Santa for free, but they’ll sell you the photo for 35€. It’s 40€ for a digital photo which is ridiculous. There’s at least 10 gifts shops here and they all sell the same commercial stuff. Great place for souvenirs. The cottages are nice. There’s lots of activities for kids. The food in the village is mediocre at best and the complimentary breakfast is terrible. I would recommend getting a rental car and eating and shopping in town. The cottage is decent, but can be loud since you can hear the doors opening and closing and any movement outside your room. It’s nice that there are mini fridge, stove and microwave in the room. You can park in front of your cottage.

I'm sure Santa Claus Village is a nice place to visit during the Christmas season or at least when there is still snow. Especially, small kids must find the atmosphere magical. We visited in the midst of April when snow was already melting and was getting dirty from traffic. Unfortunately, we had to walk through runny slush. All the staff working there were very pleasant and accommodating. I would come back in the winter, but I don't recommend the visit around this time of the year when the winter is on its retreat.

Friendly check in and great Christmas feel to each chalet with the addition of Christmas trees outside each one. Had private sauna which we made use of and spacious cosy rooms. Breakfast was included which was good and also had meal at Three Elves which was nice.
