Ein beeindruckender Kirchenbau. Wir besichtigten die Kirche Anfang August bei schönstem Wetter. Nicht nur der Holzbau an sich ist toll auch die Lage und der alte Friedhof. Wirklich zurecht UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe.

Tämä oli erittäin hieno puukirkko joka rakennettu vuosina 1763 - 1764 välillä ja on hyvin säilynyt. Ympärillä pieni hautuumaa joki siinä vieressä luopi siihen tunnelmaa että kannattaa käydä katsomassa jos sielläpäin liikuskelee.

Hieno vanha puukirkko.
Pääsymaksu kirkkoon 7€ oli kyllä hieman turhan suuri siihen nähden mitä sisällä oli nähtävää.
Kirkon ulkopuolella nähtävää kyllä oli enemmän. Kirkko rakennus on varsin näyttävä. Vanha hautausmaa kirkon ympärillä oli hieno. Lampaita oli mukava seurata

A certainly unique church made entirely out of wood. What distinguishes it from other similar churches in Finland is that it has been preserved in its original state so its current visitors can time travel to 18th century and admire this gem.

Special shout out to the very friendly and knowledgeable staff, happy to give more details about the church's history and answer any questions in fluent English.

Just one area to visit but very interesting. Had an English tour that was pretty detailed. Amazing how a wooden structure is intact and well preserved. Easy to reach and don't lose the cemetery around the church.

Kesäkuukausina avoinna oleva 1700-luvun puukirkko kauniissa maisemassa. Maailmanperintökohde, mutta silti sisäänpääsymaksu 7€ tuntui kyllä liian paljolta. Kauniisti pidetty, toiminnassa (kesäisin?) oleva kirkko. Komeat hirsiseinät ja lankkulattiat.
Vaikuttava hautausmaa pihassa.
